CODE OF CONDUCT

In accordance with the recommendations of the International Labor Organization (ILO), the directives of the European Union (EU), the Laws of the Greek Government and taking into consideration the declaration of the World Health Organization (WHO), as well as the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, the International Covenant on Economic, Social and Cultural Rights, the United Nations (UN) Convention on the Rights of the Child and the United Nations Convention on the Elimination of All Forms of Discrimination Against Women, MAKIOS LOGISTICS adopts and implements a Code of Conduct, as it is documented on the following link. This Code should be respected equally by all Company’s associates.

The Code of Conduct of MAKIOS LOGISTICS aims to capture in a single text the principles and rules which should govern the commitment of management to all employees working at MAKIOS LOGISTICS, as well as the latter’s professional behavior. The guiding principle for the creation of the Code is the ethics of the Company, the legal framework governing it, the high quality services and products and the professional standards of conduct adopted for this purpose.

The Code of Conduct of MAKIOS LOGISTICS is addressed to and binds the existing employees of the Company as well as any person hired, who automatically and mandatorily accepts and complies with the Code. The Code defines the daily operation and the behavior of all employees of MAKIOS LOGISTICS, while being a rulebook of acceptable behavior (between all employees and/or third persons, natural or legal, private or public, domestic or foreign) applicable to all employees regardless of their hierarchical position in the Company.
